In order to investigate the effective changes of Sosihotang prescription over a time, the decoction extracts of Sosihotang were adminstered to the TAA intoxicated rats.
The obtained results were as follows :
1. Few changes were noticed in pH and Specific Gravity of decoction extracts.
2. In each activated change of GOT, GPT in the Serum, significant change appeared during the first 10 days, but from 13th day and on no significant value change appeared.
3. In each activated change of ALP and LDH in the Serum, significant change appeared during the first 10 days, but from 13th day and on no significant change in values appeared.
From the above results, to maintain pharmacological effects, we recommend that the storage of Sosihotang decoction beyond 10 days should be avoided.
